The Academy is small group training designed for players to develop their skills, fitness, and game understanding in a individual-focused, yet team environment. The squads run each school term for 8 or 12 weeks, with a mix of in-person and virtual options.

The Academy is open to players of specific age groups and skill levels - with the U13/14s to undertake baseline standards and testing to be accepted. We help place athletes in the right squad based on age, ability, and goals to ensure everyone trains with suitable peers, and to maintain faster development and competitiveness.

Yes, our squads are designed to complement Talent Pathways. We respect the feedback players receive from pathway coaches and use it to help simplify the messaging and focus on key development areas. We offer a range of programs, from in-person squads to online mentoring, private coaching, and video analysis, so athletes can get the individualised, person-first support they need alongside their existing commitments.

Each athlete signs up to our online group, with perform youth squads including a private space. Here you can share videos, ask questions, and receive weekly coach feedback. This ongoing support between sessions reinforces key coaching points and ensures the learning sticks!

Players often stay for several years, and can progress from under-11s to under-16s with specific training that supports their development and prepares them for higher pathways. If certain term phases don’t fit your needs, you can switch to other programs like online mentoring, private coaching, or video analysis to stay on track and supported by us.

1. We email you everything, then you join your Academy Squad and private space on our online coaching platform. 2. Coaches, parents & athletes upload videos, photos, and files, for detailed feedback and advice in between in-person sessions. 3. You stay focused; Our online platform is your dedicated space - free from social media distractions so you see real progress.
